1940s 2 Piece Red Play Suit with White Trim

Ultra adorable 1940s/50s red and white 2 piece play suit. Such a great little find! Usually these are super tiny so its nice to find one in a modern, wearable size. This two piece set features the cutest crop with matching high waisted shorts. The halter top boasts a v-neckline with adorable tab collar with white trim. Ties in back. The high waisted shorts feature flared hips, side pockets and a notched hem with white piping. Classic metal zipper in back.
Hand tailored. Excellent vintage condition. This piece is missing a bit of top-stitching around the white pocket. It looks like someone may have tried to replace this by hand at one time. Also, there is a tiny dot on the white piping near the bottom of the v-neck. Both of these flaws are visible in the photo and neither detract from the overall wearability of the item.
