True vintage 1960s / 1970s one of a kind, hand made denim + suede maxi skirt. A total dream! Purchased right here in Joshua Tree from the lovely lady who made the skirt in the 60s!

Skirt features heavy weight denim patches (lots of Levi's and Wrangler pocket patches) with appliquéd parrot panel on front and killer folk art, quilt-like star on back. Elastic waist. It's hard to tell from the photos but the skirt actually hangs several inches longer in the back, which will be more apparent on a petite frame like that of its creator.

Excellent vintage condition. As is visible in the close up, there is a small stain near the hem in the back. It lightened considerably with a professional dry cleaning and may lighten more by spot soaking the area.
