Mavis 1970s Striped Cotton Tent Dress

Vintage 70s / early 80s DEADSTOCK tent dress. Cutest little piece in pale pink and white stripes with high lacy collar, pintucked yoke, eyelet lace with ribbons and belled sleeves. We especially love the pintucks and lace around the ruffled hem! This may have been intended to be a nightie but we prefer it as a dress! Can easily be belted (shown) but we like it loose.

Excellent vintage condition. We believe the cuffs were originally tight but that the attached elastic has stretched over the years, making them a bell shape... that's ok! We like it better this way! Petite fit.

True, unworn deadstock. This piece was purchased at the designer's warehouse in Los Angeles where it had been stored for over 40 years. Carefully hand cleaned and ready to wear.
