Perry Ellis 1980s Hand Knit Unicorn Sweater
Vintage 1980s hand knit unicorn sweater by Perry Ellis, circa 1985. Ellis is known for his classic American sportswear aesthetic and his hand knit sweaters are particularly sought after. This all wool, hand-knitted jumper features the iconic 15th Century Unicorn Resting in a Garden tapestry motif and is truly a work of art. Each chunky stitch can be felt in the loose weave. Oversize and cozy. In the mid 1980s Ellis produced many similar sweaters for both men and women with this oversized fit and wide, bateau neckline. Excellent vintage condition.
