Arianna 1980s Silk Chiffon Cape Dress

Vintage 80s does 30s silk chiffon maxi dress. Incredible, TRUE DEADSTOCK piece! Palest yellow silk chiffon with pink, grey and white florals. Crossover bodice ties in the back and leads to pointed waistline (which mimics the triangle created by the wrap above it and gives the illusion of more shape to the waistline!) Double layered, bias-cut skirt gives this lovely piece the most beautiful movement (don't believe me, check out my IG @bustownmodern)! Of course the best part is the open back with attached flutter cape. It just gives the piece even more movement and the occasional glimpse of your lovely back. We used a fan here to get photo #2.

True, unworn deadstock. This piece was purchased at the designer's warehouse in Los Angeles where it had been stored for over 30 years. Carefully hand cleaned and ready to wear.
