Helen 1940s Quilted Dressing Gown

True vintage late 30s early 1940s quilted cotton feed sack robe. We just LOVE this sweet little piece. One of a kind and entirely hand made. Can easily be worn as a dress, jacket or a coat.

First off is the amazing pattern. Tiny heart shaped florals on a black background with tiny white polka dots. Sweeping fit n flare, bias cut construction with slouchy pockets, huge collar and flared, turned up cuffs.  We especially love the mis-matched metal buttons. 

Good to very good+ vintage condition. Well-loved, sturdy and wearable vintage condition. Some of the top-stitching in the fabric is gone. It's a little faded and there are several repairs around the button area. All of these things blend right in but are worth noting. See detail shot ( and see if you can find the repairs).
