Super adorable 1950s/60s 100% cashmere cardigan. Such a great find! Pale green in color with velvet trim, button front + appliquéd race horses. We love the huge horse head on the back! Very similar in style to the famous Helen Bond Carruthers sweaters although it is missing some of the telltale signs that would allow us to attribute it to her work. Excellent vintage condition - there is a very slight, very light color bleed on the back, probably from being folded in someone’s closet for years. Please see the detailed pic - it is very light and very unnoticeable - we missed it in natural light but were able to see it under our bright photo studio lights.
