Architectural Anne Marie Beretta Jacket w/Embroidered Stars

Bustown Modern is so pleased to offer this incredible vintage 1980s wool jacket by Anne Marie Beretta. Exceedingly rare and becoming more collectible by the day, Anne Marie Beretta designs evoke a powerful yet feminine architectural aesthetic. Made from the softest brushed cashmere in both heather and charcoal greys, this little jacket features a double breasted snap construction with massive draped shawl collar and flared, peplum-like hem with slit pockets. Of course the most notable yet surprisingly understated detail comes with the nearly tone on tone embroidered stars. From a distance the stars are literally undistinguishable and it is not until one is close to the jacket that they become apparent. Truly an incredible piece - in excellent vintage condition. The exterior of the coat is in flawless condition while the lining has one small tear which is not at all visible from the outside (see pics).
