Truly amazing ca. 1968 one-of-a-kind, hand-made suede tunic with rainbow suede fringe. Pulled out of a Detroit estate, this item is an authentic late 1960s tunic belonging to a Detroit political activist. It still retains its original protest pins, including an original White Panthers pin. Black suede tunic with rainbow colored, asymmetric fringe. Corded front. Absolutely a rare, rare find and probably attended more than one MC5 concert in its day. Excellent vintage condition. Marked "RAYNBOW" inside. While this piece is intended to be a tunic or perhaps a micro-mini dress, It is possible to remove the cording in front to wear it open as a jacket.
