Colette Edwardian Cotton + Lace Dress

Lovely true vintage, circa 1910s Edwardian cotton lace dress. Such a sweet little gem! Beautiful lightweight ivory cotton with embroidered florals, cutwork and lace inserts. The bodice features a high lace neckline, tapered sleeves and puffed shoulders with tiny buttons up the back. We absolutely love the skirt of this dress - the pintucking below the waistline leads to a tiered, flared skirt with lovely movement. Even the attached slip has pintucked details beneath the waist!
VG+ vintage condition. This dress is 100% authentic 1910s lace but it is our belief that it was reworked at some point decades later, as there are hand stitched details in addition to machine stitched and serged details. There is slight damage to the lace in a few spots. There are a few horizontal tears between layers in the neckline (not visible with worn), one loose cuff (visible in several photos) and one 3" horizontal tear in the skirt. We are happy to provide photos of the slight damage.
Best fits a petite size XS/S. As you can see, it was short waisted on our 5'8" model. Because of the flaws and the delicate nature of this piece, we will not be accepting exchanges on this dress.
