Gorgeous vintage 1970s Janice Wainwright 2-piece skirt + blouse ensemble. Sheer black crop top and long, billowing maxi skirt. Blouse features cropped construction with massive sheer blouson sleeves, crossover neckline and elastic waist. Whimsical embroidered metallic cloud, moon and shooting star scene around the bust and mimicked on the hem of the skirt. We particularly love the strategic lining in the bodice. Fully lined through the front of the bodice with open sides to reveal a bit of "side boob", shoulders and back. Black matching voile skirt features a high, gathered waist, side pockets and ultra long length.
Excellent vintage condition. There are 2 very very tiny, 2mm holes in the shoulder of the body that are totally lost and not at all visible when on. Also, the skirt has been slightly altered and has had a bit of material added to the waist to make it a little bigger. Very easy for a skilled seamstress to correct and not at all noticeable while on.
