Ahhhh! What a pleasure it was to find this little piece! Around here, we love all things Walt Disney and all things Pendleton so finding this Pendleton was an extra special joy!
The Knockabouts label was first created in the 1960s as an introduction to Pendleton's first "Surf Pendleton" line. The tag depicts Haystack Rock in Cannon Beach, Oregon.
Our fun little plaid wool Knockabouts coat is part of the Pendleton/Disneyland collaboration that lasted from the day the park opened in 1955 until 1990. During those years, Pendleton had their own Dry Goods Emporium in Frontierland, which sold a large range of Pendleton products including coats, hats, shorts, skirts and jackets like this one. We absolutely love the specially designed Frontierland label with the Pendleton logo atop the Disneyland logo alongside of Cinderella's Castle!
Jacket is in excellent vintage condition and best fits size XS-M. This item was NOT clipped on our model.
